Launceston Battle - Print Winner

Well it was a close run thing in the battle with Launceston - closer than Tom's arithmetic told us on the night, the final result was Tavistock 473 Launceston 468. Much more importantly it was a great evening with a lot of good images and some very inciteful judging from Kay Wilson.

I have had a flyer from the Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Festival promoting their Photographic competition (https://www.sheptonsnowdropfestival.org.uk/competitions-2020.html). There are a lot of snowdrops at Cotehele, its worth a visit

Our next meeting is on the 22nd January and will be our “Urban Landscape” print competition.

Our competition in February is on the theme of “Along the Seashore” and while visits to the beach are normally summer activities some of the winter storms can provide great subjects (there is a surfer website https://magicseaweed.com/ that allows you to track the arrival of big waves).
